We’re joining forces with iconic brand Moke International: tailor-made seatbelts for a reinvented classic

At GSB, we are proud to announce an exciting collaboration with Moke International, a legendary brand that has redefined the concept of luxury recreational vehicles. From now on, we will be responsible for manufacturing custom seat belts for their iconic MOKE vehicles: a car that combines the free spirit of the 60s with 21st-century technology and sustainability.

A little history: the MOKE, more than a car, a lifestyle

Originally designed as a lightweight military vehicle in the 1960s by the British Motor Corporation, the MOKE quickly became a symbol of fun, beach life, and freedom. Its open, minimalist, and cheerful design made it popular in tourist destinations such as the French Riviera, the Caribbean, and the Côte d’Azur. Celebrities like Brigitte Bardot and The Beatles helped elevate it to cult status.

Today, Moke International has revived that legacy with a fully electric version of the classic MOKE. Manufactured in the United Kingdom and adapted to the demands of the 21st century, the new model maintains its retro charm with technological and ecological improvements: zero emissions, optimized range, and high-quality materials.

Safety and style: the role of GSB

Our challenge was clear: develop a seatbelt system that complemented the MOKE’s retro aesthetic without compromising modern safety standards. The result? We manufacture each seat belt with top-quality materials and certified approvals to comply with European regulations. Additionally, we adapt the design to the specific needs of the model: from chrome-plated hardware to custom colors that match the MOKE’s body, including special editions or luxury collaborations.
